My husband always talks of going to Hawaii like it’s the end-all, be-all vacation option. I have been there once and it’s beautiful. We’re going again in August. I have to say that if there’s one place I’ve traveled to that I would like to visit over and over, it’s Kentucky. Maui. . . Lexington. . . hmm. . . call me crazy, but sometimes I get a little “beached” out. Give me the green rolling hills and stately horse barns. I’m a horse nerd and I can’t help it.
I talk about lots of places. HI is good for all four of us, for now. Not perfect.
Mt. Hermon didn’t work for you either. Me? Skiing is awful in Kauai. Mountains, but no snow? God’s sense of humor! Will have to do other activities, including riding!
