Last week I met up with Seabiscuit for my Sidelines magazine article. The Hollywood A-lister was a riot to “interview,” showcasing various moods and emotions. What a character! Take a look at Seabiscuit’s (a.k.a. Fred’s) expressive shots. (Click here to read about another celebrity horse meetup.)

Emotion #1: Shy, maybe demure.

Emotion #2: Alert/friendly.

Emotion #3: Wary of the claw-handed selfie lady.

Emotion #4: Contemplative (“How do I acquire more carrots?” or “Why am I so grand?”).

Emotion #5: I am through with you. This interview has come to an end.

I like Amy’s guess! I was going to say War Horse but then remembered that horse looked more drafty and had white on his face.

Aside from guessing who he is, I have to admit I was shocked to see horses in California have winter coats! I figured it stayed to warm there for them to get fuzzy. Boy was I wrong!

You’re right and Amy’s right! I never saw War Horse. I was warned I couldn’t handle it. Did you like it?
