It’s no secret I’m a fan of the brand Roeckl riding gloves. I distinctly remember the first time I heard of them during an interview for a story I was writing for Sidelines magazine about the up and coming dressage and show jumping rider Ben Ebeling. (You might have heard of his Olympic dressage rider dad, Jan Ebeling.)

These are the navy with silver trim Roeckl riding gloves.

Anyway, Ben’s a teenager and so I had to ask him what he liked to wear from head to toe because young people love all that #ROOTD (riding outfit of the day) stuff.

Okay, I’ll admit. I #ROOTD stuff too.

So the reason the brand name stood out to me was because I was taking notes and I had no idea how to spell Roeckl. The way he pronounced is not at all how it looks. If memory serves me correctly, it sounded like “roe-ka” which made me think of Almond Roca (yum!)

But the point here is not how to pronounce Roeckl, the point is I have teamed up with Roeckl again for an Instagram giveaway for not one, but TWO pairs of Roeckl gloves: one for your, one for a friend. It’s super easy to enter. Head over to the @SaddleSeeksHorse page on Instagram for full details.

If you want to know why Roeckls have charmed me and become my personal, official riding gloves, read my previous Roeckl Glove Review blog post. That Roeckl review post gives 7 reasons they’re fab and I think you’ll like #7.

And read this post on why I decided to give away a near brand new pair of Roeckl Gloves last December (and why I cried doing it). That was not a giveaway, but giving away to a stranger.

Thank you for reading and good luck on the giveaway!
