Malibu Trail Ride

My darling niece from Illinois and I went on a trail ride when she and my sis came to visit me probably six years ago. We rode through an Old West town that had been used in movie sets. In fact, I believe we even rode through or near the area where some of the Little House on the Prairie TV series had been filmed.

It was a typical trail ride on rental horses. Lots of walking and some trotting. I’m pleased to say that at the conclusion of the ride Mattie asked, “Can we come back and do this again tomorrow?”

Her mom and I told her, “But tomorrow we’re going to Disneyland. We can’t do both.”

She stated that she would prefer to go on another ride and skip seeing Mickey Mouse.

That’s my girl!!!
